Hydroscand Group, an international family-owned business that provides solutions and services for hoses, fittings, and related products through a customer-driven and decentralized organization, is looking for two Business Development Analysts to join our team in Älvsjö, Stockholm metropolitan area. Our ambition is to fill one of the positions as soon as possible during Q1 2025 and the other position in August 2025.

In the position as a Business Development Analyst, you will be a critical member of our Business Development team. The business unit is newly formed, to help the organization deliver on its aggressive growth objectives, and has strong backing by the CEO. Your main responsibility will be to collect and analyse data, and process these into actionable business recommendations to the group and our business areas.

To be successful in this role, we believe you possess the following qualities:

• A curiosity and willingness to nurture classical business development skills, such as hypothesis driven analysis, synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data, and executive communication

• Analytical horsepower, attention to detail and an agile mind, to try out novel approaches to find answers for difficult questions

• Communicative- and presentation skills, to cope in a senior stakeholder environment

• Internal drive and independency, to successfully drive insights into tangible actions

• A collaborative mindset, as the role is cross-functional, with high demands on your interpersonal and teaming skills

• A university degree in a relevant field (or alternatively, you are soon to graduate) from university with a relevant degree, such as Industrial Engineering and Management or Business Management

• A willingness to travel occasionally in work as our team works with stakeholders across the entire international organization

• In addition, previous experience with Excel, Powerpoint and other BI-tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, QlikSense or QlikView are meriting

Your work:

• Collect data and conduct analyses across a broad range of topics, on behalf of group and our different local markets

• Prepare presentation materials for key stakeholder meetings and communicate your findings

• Lead and conduct our yearly market outlook, a comprehensive document that covers market trends, competition, and pricing in our major markets

• Prepare business cases for various commercial initiatives, including M&A
